Ever heard of the saying, “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”? It’s a phrase passed down for generations starting back in the 3rd century BC. Beauty is subjective! We find it in all sorts of things. I especially see it because I’m always looking for it in things before I stare at them through the eyepiece of my camera and lens. The world is full of beautiful things, in nature and man-made. God has created a beautiful world~!
Sure, God made the flowers, trees, animals; all of nature. Those things are beautiful, but people, especially those who have a good heart and aren’t filled with hate, emanate beauty in their smiles, eyes and character. I love capturing images of people in their element. It is my goal to find that which makes them happy and laugh…that inner beauty…and draw it out. Not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera, but with a little coaxing and humor, hopefully good humor, I find it and capture it on film…digital film.
Monday was a fabulous, blessed day. I had the privilege of photographing two very beautiful ladies, who had amazing personalities. Both of them made my work easy!
As I look over the photos I shot of both of them, I relive the time we spent together. Shooting photography is so much fun. It’s not always easy, but working with these two ladies was. Thanks, you two, K and B, for letting me capture your beauty.
They both are great!
Their eyes say it all!
