For those of you following what’s happening with us here in Japan, we are currently trying to renew our visas. At first, from advice from a lawyer in Tokyo, I tried to apply for a long-term visa. But unfortunately the staff at immigration in Kyoto told me I could not even apply for that visa. She said I we do not qualify. Instead, she said to just apply for an extension under the current visa we have. In order to apply for that visa, I have to have a letter from both churches I am associated with. I have one letter but the one from America is in the mail…snail mail…and has not arrived...
