Arrived yesterday in California. Will be here for the next 3 weeks doing our annual homestay program for Japanese kids. Going to enjoy the next 3 weeks also spending time with family, mine and my wife’s, seeing friends and soaking up California and American lifestyle.

Summer has arrived. But for us, summer isn’t really until we have stepped on California soil and have begun the homestay program. Just over two more weeks to go! We are just about to leave for Franz Josef Glacier to do some hiking and sightseeing.

This has been a beautiful trip. But then of course, it’s very difficult to find anything not beautiful in New Zealand!
