Parenting Concepts that Work 1 from Focus On the Family
Here’s a podcast I’m listening to now.
What I’m looking for in this podcast is how to be a better father, husband and leader.

Denise and I, mostly Denise, are packing things up as we get ready for our move about 150 meters down the street into our friends’ house. They, Kazuko and Yasu, are moving to Okayama.
It will be strange not living in this apartment we have spent most of our Japan-lives in. 12 years in this place! What will be even stranger is moving into our friends’ home where we have spent much of our lives also. We are looking forward to this move though.

Today, Noah has chosen to clean instead of practice baseball. He didn’t want to go to baseball practice today because he didn’t want to run. Or at least that was his reason for not wanting to go.
So I gave him a choice. He could either go to baseball and tell his coach his back was sore and that he didn’t want to run or he could stay home and clean; and clean like he has never cleaned before.
